The GeoBlue Enrollment Process

Selecting the right International health plan for your family is just part of the process, once this part is complete you then have to apply for the coverage. Depending on the plan type and the needs of your family some of the GeoBlue plans simply require an Online enrollment. There is no Medical Underwriting that needs to be done prior to issuing your short term Travel Medical policy. For example the Voyager and Trekker plans have a simple enrollment process which is completed Online or by phone. However if your needs are longer term then one of the Expat plan choices go through a much more rigorous enrollment process. If you are applying for any of the Navigator or Xplorer plans then you will need to complete the entire applicaton which then is submitted for review.

Because both the Navigator and Xplorer plans go through a process called Medical Underwriting you will need to first complete a more comprehensive application which can be done in one of two ways. The easiest and more efficient way is to complete the Online Application which you access from your quote for coverage. You can generate your own quote from just about any of our GeoBlue web pages on this site or you can request assistance in which case we will email you a quote specific to you. Every quote page provides a link to APPLY which directs you the Online application. The Online application is by far the quickest way to get your information in front of GeoBlue for consideration. In fact if you and or your family have a very clean medical history then in many cases the application can be issue automatically. Otherwise depending on how you answer the medical question section it can also be routed to the Medical Underwriting department for review.
