Travel Plans can change for any reason. Your vacation may be at risk due to illness, injury, terrorism, financial default by your tour or cruise operator, dangerous weather conditions and more. Who Is Eligible to Enroll Under This Plan?

An Eligible Participant must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Home Country is the U.S.
2. Is traveling outside the U.S. or is traveling from his/her home and is scheduled to spend at least 24 hours away from his/her home
3. For children under age 6, must be enrolled with a parent
4. Initial Purchase must be made in home country prior to departing on trip

Are Pre-Existing Conditions Covered?

The Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion is waived provided your meet all of the following requirements:

• Waiver of Pre-existing conditions exclusion is available with the purchase of the Classic or Preferred plan options
• The payment for the plan is received prior to/or within 14 days (for TripProtector Classic) or 21 days (for TripProtector Preferred) of initial deposit; and
• You are not disabled from travel at the time you make your plan payment
• And; the booking for the Covered Trip must be the first and only booking for this travel period and destination

Acts of Terrorism Are Covered

For the TripProtector Classic and Economy plans coverage is provided if a terrorist act occurs in your departure city or in a city which is a scheduled destination of your trip, provided the terrorist act occurs within 30 days of the scheduled departure date.

For all other benefits, coverage is provided if a terrorist act occurs in your departure city or in a city which is a scheduled destination of your trip, provided the terrorist act occurs within 7 days of the scheduled departure date.
